VoiceOver starts reading from beginning and not from the place where my cursor actually is

I am currently using iPhone 15 Pro and I recently upgraded to iOS 18.

I started to face this problem that whenever I am on any app screen for example on Instagram reels page, and if I do a left or right swipe rather than taking me through buttons: like comment and send buttons it jumps to the very first reel page if I do a right swipe, and if I do a left swipe, it takes me to the very end of the reels page and it’s very annoying since I can neither like or share the reels with my friends.

Any fix for this?
