I purchase and read all of my books in Apple Books, and enjoy being able to highlight and search various pieces of text - whether a reference to a geographic location, artist or a kind of tree, animal, etc.
Since the update to iOS 18 and iPad OS 18, searching gives no results.

I should add, I’m talking about the ‘look up’ function as well as the search function. Prior to iOS 18 I was able to highlight text, select ‘look up’ and results would appear. Since iOS 18 I get no results.
