Is anyone else noticing their iPhone 16 pro max being unresponsive sometimes when touching the screen, typing, swiping.
Im not even using a screen protector and it’s like it. Makes things seem really laggy sometimes.
Did not expect it on a brand new iPhone.

I have noticed typing on the keyboard sometimes just doesn’t register letters or the space bar. I took it to Apple, ran diagnostic tests and there wasn’t anything wrong. It is extremely laggy and doesn’t pick up key entries. Pls fix!
Even after the update, I kept having this issue. I had taken it to Apple several times. Replaced it under warranty and haven’t had the issue since. 🤞🏼
What kind of charger? Apple? MagSafe?
i don’t think apple with give you a new screen for free if you drop it and it breaks screen protectors should not be the cause I did the same but mine is still unresponsive in the corners
Same issue Apple can we please issue an official fix our software update. This device is too expensive to have these issues.

I am facing same issue. Difficulty in typing letters from keyboard. Responsiveness is not good as compared to previous iPhones
So what has your local Apple Store said about it if it's so readily demonstrable when none of their other devices in the store behave that way?
I have 16 plus and my screen also gets unresponsive. It was like i am using Android phone.

Having the same problem with mine. Upgraded from a 12 pro max with a dodgy screen and now I have similar issues on this brand new phone. Come on Apple, fix up. Also Reddit isn’t working either.
Its primarily a Pro Max issue.

Using Sainsburys Smart Shop yesterday, screen was unresponsive for a a good 30 seconds, I thought it might be Sainsburys WiFi, but it’s happened a few times. I switched it off & on, didn’t help. Totally unacceptable, that’s why I switched to Apple, years ago. Literally never had this before, & my old phone was 5 years old.
I got the phone on the day of its launch in India. I too have been facing the same issues on my iPhone 16 pro. I upgraded from 14 plus. There are so many dead areas on screen where it takes a harder and more deliberate tap to register the touch.
