I noticed that after updating to Sequoia, AirDrop has disappeared from the Finder sidebar. If I try to add it back from the settings, it appears for a fraction of a second, then the checkbox deselects itself again. If I navigate to AirDrop from the Go menu, all appears normal and it works correctly so I am unsure why this is happening

Oh, and just one more thing I forgot to say: the only action I found to solve this temporarily, is to force the finder's restart. Then, I can be able to add the airdrop into finder's favorites.

Then I restarted my MAC and it reappeared. It's still there.

With iCloud and AirDrop disabled, this fix persists across reboots:
rm -v $HOME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist && killall Finder

Fixed with 15.3 OS update.
This is weird. I started my Mac up 4 times yesterday after 15.3 and no issue. Today I restarted and Airdrop was gone from side bar. Not sure what is happening here.

Same with 15.4. I naver had this issue before updating to 15.4 now i also have the problem :(
So i guess it's a macOS 15.x issue. Apple pull your self together man...
For some reason when I use an external TB drive to boot from the issue is gone but as soon as I return to the internal the issue is back. The external is a clone of the internal so go figure.
