New Stickers Disappear Immediately (iOS 18 Messages App)

November 10 and this is still an issue. In fact, all of my stickers did not port over from iPhone 15 Pro Max to the new 16 Pro Max.

I had some really great ones too. 👎🏼👎🏼

I gave in. Restored from backup. Now everything works. If you have the time it’s worth it.

Same Here...and to be honest, this new phone is absolute garbage. I wish I would have saved my money and kept my old one. I've had nothing but issues with it since day one. COMPLETE GARBAGE....

Same here, using new Iphone 16 pro max and cannot create or send stickers. Is there any solution for this?

Same here on my iPhone 16. The stickers immediately disappear after making them.

Even after the newest update.

Hopefully with the next update coming in December.

Hmmm... I'm not seeing "Stickers" in this list ... maybe that's a hint as to the problem

Still broken on 16 PM with 18.1.1. Very frustrating!!!!! This has had solid visibility and a large number of people affected. It seems like it should be an easy fix.

THIS IS STILL A PROBLEM!!! Stickers don’t work. Blacked out/blank emojis in recently used.

16 Pro Max, 1tb running 18.2. Same issue, no stickers.

18.1.1 does not fix it either :(

I updated my back up iPhone XR from IOS 16.4.1 to iOS 18 with my no problems which is shocking, I won't install iOS 18 on my iPhone 14 due to last year with IOS 17.2.1. my iPhone 14 had issues connecting to cellular network, which drove me crazy, I will wait for IOS 18.0.1.

Same here! From iPhone 13 Pro to 16 pro. All self made stickers missing, and making new ones have them just disappear in an instant.

also, Universal Clipboard and handoff had issues, but seems to work now.

edit: ping my Apple Watch isn’t working either. Can ping my phone via watch tho.

Didn't work for me either. I solved the problem by restoring to the new iphone from a backup i made of the old iphone with Apple Devices on a laptop. Had to re-establish all the security settings for various apps, but other than that worked well.

Yeah, came here because all my custom stickers created from family photos disappeared after I upgraded to 16 Pro. Now I see the problem goes even deeper, new stickers disappear. This wound be where I forward the thread to my friend with the sticker of me after splashing water on my face where it looks like I’m crying; but, can’t even do that.

This is salt in the arterial wound from terrible the software glitches the first week and a half.

P.S., to the inquisitive reader. Yes, I did a full iCloud backup with all boxes checked immediately prior to setting up the new phone as instructed from said backup, on a fast stable home wifi connection. I also use arch, btw
