When Iphone 16 is plugged for charging , and the home screen is waiting to get auto locked, the screen starts flickering in pink. It is intermittent and in turns normal after taping on the screen. Is it hardware or software issue?

I had this same issue with the ultramarine stock wallpaper, as others suggested appears software, I haven’t seen any issues with other wallpapers, only the stock iPhone 16 wallpapers, appears to flash pink or the wallpaper turns pink just as the screen dims before auto locking, by sheer luck I was actually able to capture it on a screen recording and sent it too apple, I have changed wallpaper to my own one and after 24 hours not seen any issues since.
The force restart had no effect.
After buying iphone16, after 2 days pink screen start flashing. Get to my near UNI store. They told it is not a big deal. Sad. Bad support. Please help.

I have the same problem, device bought in London. Doesn't affect the phone's functioning, when you touch the screen it disappears but is very disturbing and doesn't look good at all.

This pink flickering/ flashing happens randomly before auto lock after dimming of screen lights.
Facing same issue, even reported to apple’s customer care and they’re saying it maybe due to Apple Intelligence.
