SIGNIA HA-PURE C&G T51X Bluetooth issues

This will be the strangest problem ever. But I just got new hearing aids model above. They were working great and then I was in the Signia app and it would connect to Bluetooth briefly and then stop. Since I’ve always been fairly tech savvy, I was making some adjustments within the app and I turned off all of the streaming stuff to see if that changed anything and then I rebooted my hearing aids and they wouldn’t reconnect. So I did all of the things I cannot tell you how many times I have rebooted my phone. I have unpaired my hearing aids I have Done it over and over. Until I’m ready to just give up. Here’s what happens:

I can pair either HA to Bluetooth individually it will pair, but regardless of which one I use it shows as the left hearing aid. Right now it is showing as the left hearing aid, but if I click on stream to left, it’s streaming to the right and actually to the right only. I can no longer get both right and left hearing aids to pair together.

I updated my phone to iOS 18 hoping that that would reset things and that I could go back in there and it would work it will not. I will check with my audiologist tomorrow. I had left a message on Friday morning, but no one ever called me back so has anyone experienced this? If so, was there a fix? I wondered about completely wiping out my phone and starting all over doing a complete reset would that fix anything? Do you think?

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

Trouble-shooting steps you may want to try:

✽ Hearing-aids need to be in pairing-mode, and may need to be moved closer to iPhone in order to connect

✽ Check the Settings to make sure your hearing aids are listed correctly, and are available there, for connection. Check: Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices controls.

✽ Turn Bluetooth off, wait a few seconds, and turn bluetooth back on.

✽ Restart iPhone to re-establish the connection. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

✽ There's another setting which may or may not be helpful:

Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Balance. You can set the balance in the middle.

✽ You may want to check (within the app, with the hearing-aid manual, with your hearing specialist, or with Signia's Website Support) to see if there is a firmware update to install.

✽ Seems this particular model does not appear amongst the Signia hearing Aids in Apple's List of compatible models. I do not know whether it is so new it has yet to be listed, or whether it may not be completely compatible with iPhone.
