Not getting the email was sent to my xxxxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com

Signing in with Apple, and I have email forwarding turned on, but still none of the emails sent to that address goes "anywhere".


I am not getting my code, and this is the only way to update preferences on a given website.


Tried to send email from a different non apple email to this xxxxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com, again never arrived anything.


I believe this is a bug with the Apple email forwarding system.

First, you can’t send yourself an email to your own @privaterelay.appleid.com address (I tried; it just won’t work.)


On an iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > See All > Hide My Email, tap on the website that should be sending you emails and look at the Forward To field. This is where the emails will be sent. Make sure that field is turned on.
