I currently cannot access my hotmail account with the iPhone app. I get the message “Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed”. I can, however, access hotmail via iPhone outlook. This problem only appears to be iPhone-specific as my MacBook Pro laptop mail works fine.

Report the issue to Microsoft support or look at their support sites.
I did and they said it was an Apple issue

Around two months ago, no problem.
Recently, iPhone15promax Mail app cannot login, other device is OK.
