logic pro and other apps

when i am using logic pro to load amp sim plugins and capturing with tonex, i continuously have to reset tonex to my interface or change the buffer size in the modeler section to get signal passing between the two apps.

i'm using the loopback feature of my 4i4, after tonex has completed the recording phase only tonex is being shown using the "microphone".

not sure if this is a newer issue since i didn't find anyone else having it, wondering if there is a way to fully disable microphone privacy since both are using it and i don't need it, it also may be part of the issue i am getting.

maybe i am doing something wrong, where i have seen others using this method with no reported issues.
