How to recover deleted documents from iCloud

I recently (accidentally) deleted ALL my documents from iCloud. I stupidly assumed the original "hard" copies were still stored on my mac computer, and was simply trying to free up space on my cloud, but it appears they (the documents) were solely stored on the cloud and therefore deleted. After talking with Apple, we tried all the troubleshooting things. Upon checking the 'recently deleted' tab of iCloud Drive, it says:

Even the guy at apple thought that it weird that '14.21 GB available' was stated. Any other ideas for recovering all my lost data?
