Automatic Dowloads keeps reenabling itself

The Apple Music option of Automatic Downloads (to automatically download all songs added to the media library) just keeps re-enabling itself whenever I change some other option or close the options and reopen them to see if it saved, since as usual there is no save button for settings on iPhone I literally don‘t know what else to do, I don’t want to waste 15 GB worth of memory, but always interrupting the download whenever i add something to the library feels stressful. Any Ideas on how to fix this?
