Found a bunch of discussions about this error that were a year or two old, guess it’s too much to hope Apple would have fixed the issue, but getting it consistently with my brand new iPhone 16 running iOS 18. Listening to music through the native Music app, using Apple brand wired earbuds (pods whatever they’re called) and getting this every time I pause and then try to unpause the music. Have to unplug the buds, press play, then plug the buds back in. Why is this still a problem? Wireless pods are not an option for me, need to use wired, and since Apple sells usb-c wired buds you’d think they’d fix whatever was causing the error.
