Gapless Playback in Apple Music Not Working

In Apple Music Gapless playback does not work. There is a noticeable 'gap' between songs. This is especially jarring for live albums or ones that have continuous sound (like side 2 of Abbey Road, Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon). This wasn't an issue with previous iOS versions and seems to have started with iOS 17. A temporary fix for now for Abbey Road is turning of Dolby Atmos. But I'm partly paying for Apple Music (vs Spotify) for high-quality lossless Dolby Atmos sound. If I have to switch this off to enjoy my music I will be cancelling my Apple Music subscription.
