Hearing aids don’t pair with iOS 18

Numerous people have reported this problem. I and two friends have had the same issue although we each have different brands of hearing aid. This was never a problem with iOS 17. Without pairing, we can’t use the apps that control our hearing aids. Apple needs to fix this bug ASAP.

IGNORE. The problem isn't iOS 18. The User Guide for pairing hearing aids doesn't tell you that you need to "forget this device" (your hearing aids) on your old iPhone before you can pair them on your new iPhone. The Guide does correctly tell you that you also have to turn off Bluetooth on all nearby Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) except on the new iPhone.
