Gmail emails deleted on web not syncing to iPhone

This started happening after updating to iOS 18.0.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro. When I delete an email from the Gmail web it does not delete the email from Mail on my iPhone. However, if I delete it using my iPhone it deletes the email from the web. Additionally, when I read an email on the web it also marks it was read on my iPhone, and vice versa. So everything else appears to be working.

Mail Account Settings in iPhone are set to Gmail SMTP Server.

Mail settings in Gmail - Advanced are as follows:

• Deleted Mailbox = Trash
• Move Discarded Messages Into = Deleted Mailbox

Fetch New Data - Push is enabled. Gmail is set to Fetch. Fetch is set to every 15 minutes.

I have no forwarding setup in Gmail.
