Since iso 18, I get notifications of emails but when I open the mail app there’s no email. Randomly hours later all my emails will show up. Currently have 25 emails but I just have to wait for them to show up in the inbox.

You could always log into your email service supplier where you set up the email originally (ya I know it could be inconvenient) and look at them there.
