messages—that are moved to a mailbox other than inbox— have text removed

system: 2020, 27" iMac running Sequoia 15.1

this is an odd one, started with Sequoia

email that is moved to a folder other than inbox upon receipt, including junk folder, has text removed (most of the time)

can go to Outlook (mail is handled by an Exchange server) forward the email and the text is present as it goes to inbox

rebuilding has variable success

a workaround is to go to Outlook, see if any of the email missing text is worth saving, forward if it is
