After updating to iOS 18 my Apple Mail app doesn’t load emails
With the iOS 18 update, the Apple Mail app doesn’t load emails. I will receive the notification that I have an email, but it will not load or show the email. I will have the red number notification, but when opening the app, I am unable to view the email as it won’t load.
I have a 5G connection from my cellular provider that is high-speed data and high-speed internet connection with my home network provider. With low power mode off and strong connection, my email does not load. I have to wait or open and reopen multiple times to view the message. Why?
Below are solutions I found; however, they did not work for me, and it is still an ongoing issue for me.
(1.) Turn off Low Power Mode
To turn Low Power Mode on or off, go to Settings > Battery. You can also turn Low Power Mode on and off from Control Center. Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, then select Low Power Mode to add it to Control Center.
(2.) Update mail application
- Open the App Store.
- Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
(3.) iOS update
- Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
- If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
I found this page detailing more options to do; however, my settings are correct and follow this page.
