Why is my iPhone not syncing with iCloud

Hi, both my iPhone and iMac are set to synchronize with iCloud and it doesn’t happen.

When I search around in iCloud menu there is a shortcut icon ‘photos’ on my desktop which seems to be ‘not authorized’

Where should I look yo solve the problem? Thanks for your guidance!
