iPod won't appear in iTunes when plugged in. PT.2

I have now discovered that my mother did not pause the song before turning it off and I think something could have gone wrong with the software but I don't know so I hope somebody might have some suggestions?

I doubt whether that is the issue. It is perfectly acceptable to turn an iPod off without pausing it. The iPod will do that for you.

In your other discussion (iPod won't appear in iTunes when plugged … - Apple Community) razmee209 pointed you to an Apple article entitled If your computer doesn't recognise your iPod...

Did you read it and if so, what did you find? If razmee's suggestion has not helped, I suggest that you post back into that discussion so that razmee knows and may possibly be able to suggests something else.

I suggest that you stick with one discussion (the other one). If you start multiple discussions you will simply get annoyed when someone suggests something that has already been mentioned in another of your discussions.
