New iPhone 16 Pro - Apple TV Remote Glitch

Hello,


Got a new iPhone and my Apple TV remote is completely screwed up all of a sudden. It is stuck searching endlessly for the Apple TV and has taken over my homescreen whenever I lock the phone, which is extremely annoying. What is going on? They are connected to the same Wi-fi, it just won't allow me to select the Apple TV, it's endlessly searching. What do I do?
