my microphone icon is on but there arent any apps that are using it

i have recently downloaded a .rar file for my ppsspp app. Then i noticed that the microphone icon has been randomly turning on but there any apps that use microphone that is open. i tried deleting the app along with the file but it still hasnt gone away. Any suggestions on what i can do, i feel like my safety is compromised.
