Since moving to iOS 18, when I reply to an e-mail message, it doesn’t show the message I’m replying to, just the name and address of the sender and the date and time that message was sent.
How do I make sure that the whole message I’m referring to shows in the reply?

Did a test on my iPhone and did a repetitive Upper Case letter down the left hand side of mail composition window Sent it to myself and replied to it. The rely window showed what I had originally sent to myself.
Try to increase quote level in Mail settings.

You added a letter to the beginning of each line of the original text?
There must be an easier way.
In iOS 17 it worked fine.
