Mailbox names in Monterey are far too small and no way to make bold

My wife recently upgraded to Monterey and is sorely disappointed in the changes made in Mail. The mailbox names are far too small and no way to increase their size or to make them bold, so that they stand out. Why did Apple mess up a good application.

Is there any way to fix this mess? Help!
