Why is the location of my iPad inaccurate?
When I update my Apple ID it alway shows that the device is located in a completely unfamiliar place
And why do I have to keep updating my Apple ID

well the noncellular ipad does not have gps at all so it rely on if the router it's connected to can provide a location
that being said when we get that map to approve a signin it never uses the gps it's the location of the router that provides the internet access of the device, so not even yours but that of your isp
