Shared album invite not received by family members

I have created several albums of trips taken with kids but when I try to share via their iPhone numbers and/or email address they do not get the invite. However when one of them shares with me I do get the invite. I have tried all the on line suggestions but nothing seems to work. Both family members Apple accounts are linked. Frustrating
