Macbook always counting my screen time

My Mac recently started counting my screen time even when the laptop is closed. I installed Sequoia, and restarted it, thinking it would help. It'll clear the hours and get accurate, but in a few hours will just continue to count the hours as if I'm on my laptop. I tried to get information to contact apple support, but i guess they dont have it for Mac's. I turned off/on the screen time and it reset it all (all days previous), but ill just keep counting the hours. Does anyone know how to fix it? I used to sleep with youtube playing, for a few months, but the screen was dimmed all the way and locked, and it didnt count it then. Could this be the cause?
