Merge Contact Lists - Repost

Hey, I'm reposting this from an earlier subscriber question. The most relevant response with not relevant at all - so I'm reposting to see if anyone can assist. Thanks for your time!

I currently have multiple contact lists on my iPhone. I would like to have my "All Contacts" synced to my "All iCloud", so I can have the latter one on my mac as well. Right now my "Messages" app is not showing names, only numbers. I think the reason is because by "Contacts" is not synced properly with my phone.

Any suggestions?

See the article Sync contacts and calendars onto your Mac and iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

  • Sync contacts to your device: Select the “Sync contacts onto [device name]” tickbox, then click “All groups” or “Selected groups”. If you click “Selected groups”, select the tickboxes of the groups you want to sync in the groups list. To add new contacts to a specific group, select the “Add new contacts from this [device] to” tickbox and choose a group from the pop-up menu.
    • Replace the contact or calendar information on your device: Select Replace Contacts or Replace Calendars to have that information on your device replaced with the information on your Mac.
  1. When you’re ready to sync, click Apply.
