What to do with data removed from icloud by Apple?

Recently I bought 2TB od cloud data space. Over the weekend I had to do some cleaning on my drives. I uploaded 1TB of data to the cloud. 2 days later Apple sent me an invoice. The same exact moment they cleaned the icloud drive effectively deleting my 1TB of data. 1 week & 2 phone calls later:

  • we have no solution for you sir. And we have no answer what happened. We don't know.
  • What now?
  • Nothing.
  • What do you mean nothing? You haven't even said you're sorry, do you have no decency whatsoever?
  • Apple Company IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for proper working of cloud data systems nor for your data loss.
  • Ok I'd like to file a complaint
  • I'm the person who you file the complaints to. I ccan do nothing for you sir
  • I'd like to file a complaint regarding YOU and your handling the case
  • That is not possible, is there anything else I can help you with?

So my question is:

  • have you encountered a similar situation?
  • Is there anything I can do?
