Siri interrupts Podcast to announce a message, then doesn’t return the podcast to full volume.

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately.

I’m listening to a podcast, Siri lowers the podcast volume to announce an incoming text message. <—- Expected behavior.

Siri never returns the podcast volume to normal after the announcement <—- UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Siri doesn’t ask if I want to reply to the text message. Nor does Siri appear to be waiting for a response. If I say “Hey Siri” then Siri will randomly pick a message thread (not the one it announced) and begin transcribing what ever is said. <—- UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Note! Do not swear at Siri during this annoying behavior. That’s how you end up explaining to your Mother why you just sent a string of language that would make a sailor blush to her.

If Siri is commanded to resume the podcast it will start the podcast from the beginning. <—- UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR
