Find My cannot acces iCLOUD

Hi,

When I log in to Icloud.com i can see my devices. I know they are visible and can be found. I have full access to that online.

When I find my devices in system settings on my computer it confirms that Find My is turned on.

When I open "find my" on my computer it shows nothing. It tells me to authorize iCLOUD access . I go back to settings. Go to system settings, my applid ID, and iCLOUD, It shows me a few apps that have access but not find my. I go to "Show more apps" and turn it on for Find My, save the change and when I check it reverts to "off". I seem not to be able to authorize it.

So - there seems to be no way I can get FindMy on my computer to actually do anything. Authorizing isn't working (and sometimes even freezes system settings when I try to authorize it requiring me to force quit system settings and Find my...)

Any ideas?
