Updated to 18.1 this morning. I read the fine print—Australia is *not* in the list of countries where Hearing Test is available. Very disappointing. I was looking forward to using iPods Pro 2 for hearing assistance.

Just bought my airpods pro this morning for just this feature. Get home and find it’s not available in Australia. Guess how I feel about this issue. Not happy.

As we are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, Apple itself is unlikely to read your carefully prepared plea here.
Seems we need to continue being patient until Apple either makes an announcement, or, more likely, includes the hearing test, and / or the hearing-aid feature to more of the latecomer-countries in its frequent software updates.
With the various computers and devices, and many software versions in use worldwide, am grateful to see Apple continues to gradually add countries to its long availability list. (ie: AirPods Pro 2 - Hearing Health Feature Availability - Apple)
Expecting we'll see Australia on the list before too long, as UK was added promptly when the time was right for all concerned.
The earlier hearing features that were released quite some time ago (eg: Live Listen / Conversation Boost etc.) continue to be available for use. (Seems they did not require approval from local authorities.)

Hi Correction, can tick audiogram but doesn’t do anything or am I missing something?
right now I just want the feature back where I can select my audiogram.
it’s in iPadOS18.1. Just not iOS18.1

This is extremely annoying. I just canceled my order for the new AirPods because the only reason I was going to update was the promised hearing assistance features.

Just received this response from Monique Ryan's (Member for Kooyong) office "I have sought to follow-up with the Department of Health on this matter and will let you know once we receive a response."
Several here have used this form already in the past weeks. Thanks for commenting.
Again Australia is last in the world of acceptance; we have a product which has multiple benefits! This country walks backwards while the rest of the world progresses!
