That will not work. The output from a turntable, mixer or amp is analog audio. It is not USB. No cable (even if it has the appropriate plugs on each end) can convert analog audio to USB. What the OP needs is a USB audio interface like his/her Behringer UCA222 or a Focusrite Scarlett to convert the analog audio from the turntable/mixer/amp to digital USB.

Since the OP has the Behringer UCA222 he would only need a cable with a female USB-A connector on one end and a male USB-C connector on the other end.

But there is another consideration --- in order to record from vinyl you need an interface that has RIAA EQ built in. The Behringer UCA222 does not have RIAA EQ. (RIAA EQ is often called "phono input"). The Behringer UFO202 does have RIAA EQ. All vinyl is recorded with RIAA EQ, that's why you need it in the interface.

I’ll try to help you, ivano290….

for the record vinyls from mixer and turntable, you’d need a 2 RCA plugs( male) , plus 2 rca adapter female both ends, to either USA-A male plug or USB-C male plug, and set audio input to USB audio either with Audio Midi Setup or by holding down “option” key while clicking on speaker icon at the top of your screen… the usb-c one is sold on Amazon,

”Vention” is one of the brand names /makers.. gold plated would be better to use, perhaps… same for 2 rca male to USB-A ( don’t forget to get as well 2 rca adapter with female on both ends—a coupler/extender??) for Garage band, look at their faq/troubleshooting sections … I think is Apple product so maybe contact them…

After connecting your UCA222 to your Mac, open System Settings > Sound > Input and make sure the UCA222 is selected as your sound input.

Any recording app including GarageBand should then recognize the UCA222.

Note, however that your UCA222 does not have RIAA EQ (aka phono) built in, which you need for converting vinyl to digital. You will still get the audio, but it won't sound right. Look into getting a USB audio interface that has an RIAA "phono" input.
