An annoying Apple pop up called Home pops up uninvited when I start my Mac Mini. I want to eliminate that app. How is that done?

First, you CANNOT delete the app - it's part of MacOS system (believe me, I have tried)

You can do the following:

System Settings --> Your "Apple Account" --> iCloud ---> make sure "Home App" in "Saved to iCloud" is "unchecked"

Check this: go to System Settings -> General -> Login Items and see if Home is listed there. If so, remove it.
