Mac Mini is not listed as an output device in Sound Settings.

I'm running a Mac Mni 2018 - Sonoma 14.6.1. I woke up this am and did not have any sound from my Mac in any browser or program with sound. For example, playing a video in FB, there was no sound. I checked "Sound Settings" and the Mac Mini is not even listed as a Output Device. I restarted, of course, no help. I went to System Settings and stopped the coreaudiod file and restarted, no help. There are no other audio devices or bluetooth connections active. I know the Mac Speaker is working bec I get the Mac Start up tones when I restart. Just as another test, I connected my Fose Bluetooth amp and I can run sound through it no problem. So the problem lies somwhere in the Mac itself no even showing up as an Audio Output option in System Settings.
