Request for Replacement of Defective Otterbox Case Purchased at Apple Store Los Angeles

Dear Apple Support,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request assistance regarding an Otterbox case I purchased at the Apple Store in Los Angeles Theater 15 days ago. Unfortunately, after less than 48 hours of use, the MagSafe magnets detached, rendering the case defective.

As I am currently in Uruguay and unable to visit the store where I made the purchase, I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed with a replacement or refund. Could you please advise on the best course of action and how I can resolve this issue remotely?

Two things:

  1. Apple does not provide a warranty for non-Apple products, even if they are sold in an Apple Store. In this case, you will need to contact the manufacturing for assistance. They only offer a 14-day window, from the purchase date, to return an undamaged product.
  2. If you reside in Uruguay, you may find getting a replacement difficult when purchased in another country. Again, you will need to contact the manufacturer.
