mac mini m4 working slow at 4k 32"

Hi all, I am having problems with my new mac mini m4 base model. I noticed that it works very badly with some things.

I am using it with a Samsung LS32R75 monitor

- Specifically I bought RDR1 and set the screen resolutions to 3008x1692. And it's just a nightmare, the game is like at 15fps, everything is horribly slow and unplayable. When I change the resolution to 2560x1692 everything is a little better, but still not playable. Only at a resolution of 1920x1080 becomes playable. But you know, on a 4k screen I just dont want to play in 1920x1080.

- And if the lags in the game I will survive, because I launched the game for the sake of experimentation, the second problem that I noticed is very critical for me. For my work, I need to visit a lot of websites, some of them have a lot of animation. And the problem I encountered (on some sites) is very slow and lagging scrolling of the site. When I lower the resolution everything becomes better and better. When I set the resolution to 1920x1080 there are no problems with scrolling. For experiment you can check the site if you have the same problems with its loading.

I will be glad to any feedback. In particular, do you have problems in games at 4k resolution. And also how do you work attached website at a resolution of 3008x1692 and more. Thanks ✌️

Purchasing an m4 mini base model and expecting game-playing performance may be opposing factors. It depends on how much RAM you choose, what RAM your game demands, and whether your game takes advantage of multiple GPUs or not. Choosing an irregular screen display size from the standard HDMI 3840 x 2160 may add additional workload for the GPU.

I have an M4 Mac mini Pro running Sequoia 15.1 and a 32-inch LG 4K Ultrafine display. I use a Belkin Ultra Highspeed 4K cable and do not change the 3840x2160 display. I never play games.

Update.

I tried different cables, nothing worked. But I found someone who has the same mac and he has the same problem, so I guess it's a general problem.

But I can't understand why on macbook m3 pro 18gb, the site I checked (you can google “louisboc” and it will be the first link, it's some designer's site) works fine. It is clear that m3 pro is better than m4, but for a simple site to work so badly, it is strange.

In general, I will be glad if someone with m4 base will check this site, and describe his experience. Because I do not exclude that it may be a defect of the first batch
