Refurbished MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max screen glitches

I purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max last week. On arrival and after first boot I noticed some odd screen behaviour where there were glitched sections of the screen, like pixels were being dragged horizontally. This didn't cover the entire screen, as the glitch was only present within a program window. There could also be multiple glitches, but again each within an independent program window (finder, safari, screensaver...).

At first I contacted support who advised I do all the updates, so I went from Sanoma to Sequoia but this didn't fix it. I returned it to the store, and was advised to have it repaired as they thought it was a logic board issue. It returned today, but instead they've replaced the screen. I've been assured it was tested, but the issue persists and so it will be returning for repairs again tomorrow. But in case anyone had this issue before, I thought I'd see if there was any advice. I've attached some screenshots (including whilst writing this message), to demonstrate the issue.

Yes — the advice is return it and have them fix it.

Refurbs have the same 1-yr warranty as a brand new Mac.
