iOS Predictive Text & Slide to Type: 2 major peeves

Predictive Text needs to be ISOLATED from Auto-Correction. IOW, disabling Auto-Correction while keeping Predictive Text means that nothing typed (manually or Slide to Type) is EVER changed automatically after the fact. IOW, user choice is the ONLY thing that can pick or change a word once typing moves forward in the sentence. Far too often text is changed, somewhat in the background, while new text is being inputted, despite Auto-Correction being disabled. This means that a user can never trust that what has been typed will be what is sent because things can be automatically changed right up to the moment that 'return' is pressed. Grrrr!

Slide to Type and Predictive Text are excellent, especially for those of us who have difficulty spelling English words. However, who is the friggin English genius at Apple who decided that "and's" is an English word/contraction? I have Text Replacement in place that's supposed to ensure that "and's" is replaced with "and" but it never is. I've wiped the dictionary several times hoping that it will 'learn' that I NEVER want to use "and's" but it's always the first choice by Slide to Type and Predictive Text and it NEVER learns!
