Call announcing voice is very low and can barely hear who’s calling thru the AirPod Pro 2

I am missing important calls because the volume the Apple Air Pods announce the incoming calls through Siri is a whisper at best. FIGURE IT OUT APPLE. I DON’T PAY TO HAVE ISSUES WITH MY PHONE AND AIR PODS. I WILL HAPPILY MOVE MY ENTIRE FAMILY TO AN ANDROID.

Well , thank you for letting me know. I haven’t updated yet to 18.3 and don’t think i will now with this info you just gave me. All So fustrating 🤦🏽‍♂️. It may be time to just switch to Android and move my family AWAY from Apple.

The new firmware has made both the ANC and Siri's voice worse when a phone call comes in. In addition to iOS bugs, Apple is now also able to invent bugs in the AirPods firmware!

Let's hope Apple wakes up because it's really annoying not to hear an incoming call while every other Siri alert is happening regularly!

Same here, Every call I get the sound of Siri announcing the call is so low. Almost like a whisper. I’m assuming I will have to wait for them to do a update to the software.

Today I don't see any new firmware, always the same "7B21" and only with a new firmware (I hope) they will solve this annoying problem!

I have no idea. I happened to stumble on these instructions independently of this issue. I just thought, hey, a software update couldn’t hurt. apparently, that was the cure.

It DIDN’T fix mine the firmware version is 7B21, is there a newer firmware?

I have the same exact problem and its so annoying. Would be great they fixed it. I think i had this since the airpods pro 2 release day
