It takes about 5-10 mins for my Apple Watch to start measuring my heart rate. I've seen many people have this issue, but I don't see a solution to this particular problem. Any help appreciated!

Does the watch detect your heart rate if you start the heart rate app before the run?
In winter time this could be also related to the colder temperatures of your wrist at the start of the run.
Or the watch needs to be 1-2cm further away from the wrist.
