i had several cards on my iPhone and they were all working fine. Suddenly and upon double clicking the right button to call Apple Pay, I get the message “NFC is turned off” and the system asks for turning on NFC thru setting. But there are no options in settings to manage NFC on IOS 18.

Please call Apple Support and request remote diagnostics be done on your iPhone. Pay particular attention to the NFC module.
If it’s more convenient you may make a Genius Bar appointment at a nearby Apple Retail Store.

Just to add that I removed all cards and added them again but that didn’t help. I also did a reset of all communication and it did not work.
