I will give as many details as I can to assist you in helping me. Forgive me for any futile info I share.

While working on a website (and not in fullscreen), something in the upper right corner of my screen drew my attention. The icon for my Time Machine backup drive (Seagate 2TB Backup Plus Slim USB 3.0 External HD - Red) changed back and forth from its picture to the base blue file folder. It simply changed back and forth for about 5 or so seconds, then stopped on the picture of the drive.

This is probably nothing to worry about (I hope it isn't), but I get really nervous when things happen in the cyber environment that I didn't initiate or execute myself (and things that are not common in my experience as a Mac owner since '09). Call it paranoia as subpar cyber security is a constant concern of mine.

Details: I changed the picture about a week ago to look like the actual drive instead of the basic blue folder. I cut and paste the pic from a google search image of the drive (saved it as a .jpg and deleted it once it was in place).
