Adding Ken Burns effect on Keynote

I'm looking to add ken burns effect in keynote. When I google for this, it says "Select your image and check the Ken Burns checkbox in the "Format" tab" which sounds straightforward except, for me, on Keynote v. 14.2 there is no Ken Burns checkbox. Any thoughts? Many thanks.

Was there ever a Ken Burns effect in Keynote? I don't recall that. A quick search didn't find any references, either, except for the two options that I can think of.

One is to use iMovie to create a movie using the Ken Burns effect applied to your media, then import the resulting video into Keynote.

The other is to use Keynote's Build and Action events to animate the images (likely more work).
