Guidance Needed: Faulty Airpods Pro 2 and Warranty Dispute

I’m seeking advice on how to handle an issue I’ve had with a pair of Airpods Pro 2nd gen I purchased from an authorized reseller of Apple. The earphones have been giving me several problems:

  1. Noise during noise cancellation – A static noise that makes the feature unusable.
  2. Heating effect – Right airpod causes significant discomfort by overheating me right head area during extended use.
  3. Poor connectivity – Delayed connectivity with apple devices

Here’s what happened:

  • I reported these issues to the reseller within the warranty period.
  • The service employee initially tried to convince me that the problems were due to “incorrect usage” and seemed reluctant to accept the product for evaluation.
  • They reminded me that the warranty was expiring the next day and implied that repairs might not be free afterward, even though I was reporting the issue on time.
  • After insisting, they finally took the product but called me the next day (when the warranty had technically expired) to say that no issues were detected.

I feel like the employee tried to dismiss my concerns and possibly avoid processing a valid warranty claim. The issues are persistent and real, but now I’m worried that the company won’t acknowledge or address them because the warranty period has passed.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Should I escalate this to the tech company directly, and if so, how can I ensure they take my claim seriously? Is there anything else I can do to prove my case and get a fair resolution?

I’d appreciate any advice or guidance on how to move forward.

Thank you!

I should escalate this to Apple support directly, as It seems there is hardware damage going on and you reported within the warranty period
