Smooth Keyframes (Easy Ease Keyframes) in Final Cut Pro in 2024

What's the best solution for getting smooth interpolation between position keyframes in Final Cut Pro in 2024? I know I can go into the Video Animation in the timeline, click on the position keyframes and choose "Smooth". However, the speed curve it applies to the interpolation is still not very smooth. Is anyone aware of a good solution to this?

Looking back, this project that contains a lot of keyframed elements maybe should have been done in Apple Motion instead. But the project also relies heavily on a lot of Final Cut Pro exclusive features, and now the project is 90% done in Final Cut Pro - so porting it over to Motion would be a headache.

I know there's the new EasyEase plugin on FxFactory. But I find it a bit pricey at $49 USD. But maybe that's the best solution?
