its always on.. should I turn it off ?? Will check and see. Thank you

NO.

Turning off the AC power inlet is a classic way to wreck the PRAM backup battery, which is not designed to work all night every night if power is removed at night.

Its symptoms are similar to what you are experiencing, which prompted my question.

But LOTS of other things could be causing those same symptoms, so especially if under warranty, you should make an appointment to consult the Genius Bar at an Apple-owned store.

The computer power inlet has a lot more rubber around it that an ordinary plug. den.thed suggested you check it. I would go farther and say that sometimes you may need to really JAM that plug into the jack on the chassis to get a good connection.

Make sure that the power cable is fully inserted into the back of Mac Studio and fits tightly into the Wall outlet. If you are using a UPS, Surge Protecter or a Switch, by-pass it and test the Mac Studio plugged directly into the wall outlet. see > If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support

If none of that helps? Take it in to be checked out > Get service
