Does time machine back up a flash drive or CD that was viewed on the Mac Studio?

I had a Flash Drive that I opened on my Mac BUT lost it, it was items from a CD that I put on the Flash Drive as I no longer used CD's to record B/U material.

While I fear the obvious, I am hoping for an answer as it would be frustration to search the Time Machine B/U if they were not available.

Thank You,

Greg

Time machine backs up every native Mac-formatted drive connected to your Mac. Those drives need to be Mac-formatted so that a spotlight database can be created on that drive. So not CD drives (Read-ONLY) AND NOT FAT or ExFAT formatted USB sticks.
