Adding child's debit card to Apple Wallet

I need to add a debit card owned by my child to their wallet. Whenever I try to add the card, it doesn't allow me to.

Is there any way to add it?

Is your child part of an Apple Family Sharing Group? If so, the group organizer has to add the card. Apple has a minimum age of 13 to use an electronic wallet. However, many countries around the world have higher minimum ages. What country are you in?

Once he becomes 13, most countries permit the use of Apple Wallet. However, some countries or regions require the user be at least 16. Apple doesn’t maintain a list of countries by age. You’re welcome to use the Apple support article I linked to below to contact Apple support in your country or region and confirm the age requirement.
